This session focuses on how access to reliable electricity is linked with better provisioning of healthcare services. This session was a culmination of insights, challenges and learnings shared from different decentralized energy interventions that have been implemented by a wide range of stakeholders in health facilities. The panel also provided a critical take on why certain implementations have not scaled or have not been sustainable, and what interventions are essential to ensure the sustainability of energy systems at health facilities in the long run.
