Kerala has set ambitious renewable energy (RE) targets, aiming for 100% RE by 2040 and carbon neutrality by 2050. However, with limited land and wind-rich sites, the state faces unique challenges in its clean energy transition. This paper uses a technology assessment framework to evaluate and prioritize RE solutions. It provides insights and recommendations to support Kerala’s clean energy transition.
