Ms. Pampa P Chowdhury

Ms. Pampa is currently the Branch Manager at Concern India Foundation, Bangalore Branch. She leads the fund raising project and product teams. She has conceptualized and executed several successful fund raising events and awareness campaigns. She was Deputy Area Coordinator at SOS Children’s Villages, Bangalore.

She has free-lanced as a consultant with various NGOs. In 2006, she was a consultant for a livelihood program with Makkala Jagriti, an NGO working for the development of the economically disadvantaged community to empower and employ women by enabling them to become financially independent. Her significant contribution was setting up the tailoring unit by mobilizing various resource people in setting up the unit and plan for a viable self-financing model.

She has worked in advertising and journalism. She was a correspondent for the Indian Post - a division of Gujarat Samachar, covering Nagaland and Manipur. She has covered both political and soft news, did an in-depth feature and interview at the NSCM (K) Terrorist camp during this stint. She is presently freelancer for The Deccan Herald, Bangalore.
